Yes absolutely, a little of both. Love is love, how you love really is the answer. ^.^
You can love someone as a dear friend, you can love your family, you can love someone as in "I'm in love" or love meaning you cherish that special someone in your life. It's all about love <3 |

It's a bit of both in most cases, but what side a person leans more towards is entirely dependent on the individual.

I feel like liking someone is involuntary. To love someone I do kind of believe is voluntary in a sense. When a person begins to "fall in love," it's not really planned, is it? It just kinda happens. And it doesn't even really start out as love. It starts as a like and begins to grow as you learn more about your significant other and as your relationship with them grows. You choose to stay with them to the point where you do fall in love with them.
You also have to remember that just because a person likes someone for a little while doesn't mean they "fell in love." Crushes come and go and a lot of relationships do as well. A couple dates for a few days and they're already saying "I love you" (I admit, I'm guilty of doing it, too) and they usually end up breaking up just a few months later. People use that term too loosely these days when most of them probably don't even know what "true love" is. |

Why would you want to spend time with love when you can play J-Dating Sims?!
But eh, it can both. |

Both. Though, sometimes it's mainly the latter.

Nah. It's involuntary for the most part. Whether you chose to persue a relationship with that person however is voluntary.
