Anything that got you thinking that things maybe are ok? That if you keep it up you could live a life without much worry? If nothing, could you possibly say why? Why you think that nothing like this has happened recently or if ever?

I made this as a silly quick edit for a funny thread on another forum, but it ended up being the best thing I've ever made in Photoshop and I put way more effort into it than I initially intended. Ironic, because I have been doing a college assignment involving Photoshop, but it's so limiting that I can't ever get anything this good for it.

Well, I did find a job a few weeks ago, but if you're looking for the last thing that made me feel confident...

*sigh* This may sound really selfish or whatever, but hear me out.

The last thing that made me feel confident was when I looked in the mirror.
My whole youth I was a really scrawny kid, and I hated looking at myself. I've got no ugly-genes or anything, but I was a mess. Long hair, braces, skeleton arms, acne, no fashion-sense, I just didn't look good.
Now I've spent a year in the military, and I've been lifting without a real diet or program for about two years, but the progress of the last three months is what completely blows me away. For the first time I've done my homework, I'm eating right and have a workout plan. Eight hours of work a week and some little tweaks in my diet, and I'm a completely new me. It just feels awesome to see and feel that everyday.
I'm never going to be that same weak kid again.

I almost completely forgot what this topic was about.

I guess that, in some ways, this year at college has made me feel a bit more confident in general. I was voted class rep, I got 100% in my exam, I made friends who seem to outright look up to me at times...little stuff like that, I suppose.

A forum I joined recently has also made me feel more confident. It has a Facebook-esque "Like" system (basically, if this was that forum, I'd probably have given Samius' post up above a like). The amount of likes people have given me are nearly 50% more than the amount of posts I have made (I've made over 1,000 posts too, so it's not like I made two posts and just have three likes!

). And unlike Facebook, my posts are (mostly) intelligent discussion, so it makes me feel like people think I make good points or something.

I've been finding myself speaking my mind more often in public, too. Before, I would only say something if the situation was really dire, or I was asked for an opinion. Nowadays, I find myself questioning/calling out things more directly and on the spot.

And more than one person has outright told me they wouldn't mind getting in bed with me, within the past few months, so I guess I have some sex appeal now...I guess...

Found out I made a 132 out of 147 (weird scale, I know), on my AP Lang & Comp SLO (Student Learning Objective) post test.

But honestly, every single day I make myself feel confident by thinking about all of the good things in my life. I have seriously good grades, I'm Corps Commander of my JROTC unit, I have some AMAZING friends, I never do anything stupid that lands me in trouble, I'm healthy and physically fit, I have become much better at interacting with women and in general social situations, and I don't look half bad, either.

Life is so good to me. Maybe I should be better to life.

Yesterday as a whole experience made me feel quite confident. I was on the move whole day, rode my bicycle, spent the whole day with my closest friends enjoying outdoors etc. I got physical exercise and social communications to the point that I felt good about my life. It is very fascinating that usually the smallest things actually become the biggest positive thing in life.
