Has anyone found a good site for importing Skylanders stuff from Japan.
I would like a copy of Spyro's Adventure for the 3DS. The developer of the Japanese translation was the same studio behind the US releases of Giants and SWAP Force on the 3DS.
In the past couple of years, I've become a bit of a fan of this studio, collecting all of their games on Nintendo systems.
Somewhere, I've got a second photo that has all of their GCN/Wii/WiiWare stuff on it, but I can't seem to find that one.
Anyway, I'd sorta like to get the Japanese Spyro's Adventure, but since I can't even play it (not knowing Japanese, not having a Japanese 3DS), I don't want to spend some of the crazy import fees to get it here. Anyone had any luck?

I've had a lot of luck with playimport.com
Their prices are reasonable and there are no extra fees. You can ship JP post or EMS for a little more (which is best because it provides tracking). I've ordered several 3DS games that were only released in Japan from them with lots of success. And they're fast! EDIT: I did a quick search for Skylanders on their site and didn't find anything. But you can always try contacting them and asking about a specific game. Maybe they'd be able to get it for you. They're really very helpful and try to get anything I've asked for in the past. |

If anyone knows where to get them from, I'm also curious to import the Japanese version of SA. Didn't know that n-Space translated the 3DS version. I want to buy the 3DS and Wii U versions and maybe the Wii version, just because I though it would be fun to collect them as special extras.

I used tenso.com and you can get the Japanese version of SA from Toys R Us Japan. I have bought Japanese version of SA from TRU Japan.

I'm confused by this. Clearly you are collecting games developed by N-space. The first Skylanders 3DS game was developed by Vicarious Visions. Where do you have info that n-Space were at all part of the Japanese version of SSA for 3DS, let alone if they were how this would be at all different than the US version with the exception of the text (which you can't read).

...and I can't play it (since I don't have a Japanese 3DS and 3DS titles are region locked)...
But I still want it. As far as my understanding goes, n-Space was tied to the Japanese release of the 3DS version of Spryo's Adventure. It was originally developed by VV, but n-Space did the conversion work necessary for the Japanese release. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. |
