I'm pretty sure you do inspire some people Convexity. It's just that they might be shy to say anything about it.

Don't listen to people that say "no you don't" they're just butts can't bother to pick up a pencil and try for themselves, because they are lazy and rude. Either that or they used SnN rules to poop out a rude comment.

You might inspire some but I am personally not inspired by drawings of Pokémon and Sonic characters, and photos of Skylander figurines.
Some of your nature photograps are nice too look at. I like the ones taken from above the clouds.
The "pomes" do have some semblance of meaning, but overall they're not really poems. They don't have any structure. They're more like short, abstract essays of some sort, but they've got some nice ideas.

Anyway, don't let this discourage you. Most of my reasons boil down to the fact that you just have very little originality in your artwork. Some of them are just straight up copies! That can be fixed with mere brainwork.
As for the quality of your drawings, there is nothing wrong with them that practice couldn't fix. Keep drawing, you'll do great someday.

If you look through my gallery you'll see more of my work. And I've drawn them by hand on my 3DS.

My poems are "free verse poems." They don't have to have any structure or anything related to a stereotypical poem. They can be any length or form it doesn't matter. Look up some free verse poems you'll see what I'm talking about.

Um. Are all these images traced?

If so, I see no inspiration or progress in your artwork. You need to know how to draw things from the mind or make new things rather than doing the same exact image that's already done.

Being an artist takes lots of time, and it seems like you are just beginning.

Alright guys, he may not inspire you, but that doesn't mean you come on here and be a ****. Just simply answer yes or no, if your going to say something bad, don't say it at all.

I'm going to be honest here, it doesn't look like you drew them, if you did it looks like they were traced. The Pokemon images look like you simply took the official art and put a colored background behind them.

If you did actually draw them yourself, then good job they are very well done recreations of the official art. Though perhaps try to give it your own personal flare to make it look more your own rather than being an EXACT copy of the official art.

I did scroll a bit through the other pages, and though I didn't read the poems, I'm sorry, but I don't see anything inspiring about it. The photography is nice, but looks more like simple vacation photos or showing off your Skylander finds. Many of the drawings I saw look like traces or copy/pastes from official artwork. The one truly beautiful piece I noticed was a colored drawing of some fruit.

Even if they are traced, they are well done--if you can trace well, then you have talent, but if you continue to trace for everything, that talent will fade for as long as you rely on one thing, and that goes for everything in art, really. You can honestly learn from tracing, but don't upload it and claim it as your own. If they are referenced, then it's actually not much better than tracing, for your work is very similar to the original, and you should develop your own style, even if things wouldn't be perfect recreations, but then again that is more my opinion than anything.

Some of the poems are hard to read, so you should try to format them by putting a line per line, but with freeverse it's kind of iffy, some of those who dabble in that kind of writing are wonderful, but don't follow English language rules and such. It's often debated if this type of writing is poetry or just rambling, but either way, I won't invalidate it. Continue to do what you do, and you may surprise everyone one day.

Don't stop. Everyone improves, and changes, creativity at their own pace, just like many types of growth, really.

I have a question for you:

Do you inspire yourself?

I don't really get inspired by other images. If I feel inspired to make a video, it's because of a song I heard. If I get inspired to take photos, it's usually because I'm seeing something picture worthy right that very second. And I don't really draw, so...

Your art is pretty nice, though smilie

Ok I'll come clean; sense everyone is saying I traced some of my Pokémon pictures I did. But I didn't just put a background on it I actually colored them all by hand. I only put the colored background on them because there are bits and pieces of dots missing and are too numerous to do it all so I put a filler lair it to cover up those mistakes. (It's kind of hard to do 3D lairing.) I only did it because I get into details a lot so I end up doing every single detail. But if you look more closely to the pictures you may see bits and pixels missing or in the wrong place and that shows I don't put just a background on them; I actually draw the whole thing.

Edit: Most of them took me almost 2 hours or more to complete.

Plus I only do that when I'm bord.

But aside from that my dragons are never traced they are my pride and joy. I would never trace them for they are my passion. Plus I've been taking a college art class and learned some drawing techniques and there will be more of my original art up soon (when ever I'm not lazy)
