Chapter 01
Golden Birth

It was the night of the Year of the Dragon. In the Temple, a dark blue dragon walked across the Egg Chambers, inspecting each egg one by one. To this dragon, the eggs were delicate and a gift from the Ancestors, to others, they were useless.

This dragon was named Sourion. He always looked forward to the egg that contained the Celestial Dragoness but, years has passed and no sign of a Celestial Dragoness until he saw a golden egg, wrapped around in a misty, golden aura. ''This is it!" Sourion told to himself. Suddenly, a black mist covered the rest of the eggs, breaking them.

Shadow dragons.

Sourion grabbed the golden egg to escape from the debris but he found himself being surrounded by a group of shadow dragon whom held the death glare. That glare was fatal, not one dragon could stand it. ''Hello, Sourion.'' An ominous voice said.

Sourion twitched his ears as he felt his body fading. ''VORMANAX! YOU WRETCHED BEAST!'' He roared. A tall shadow dragon appeared and laughed evilly. ''This is where it ends, Sourion!" Vormanax said.

Just as Sourion turned to dust, the shadow dragons shrieked in fear at the golden egg. All, except Vormanax. Just as he approched the egg, it glowed brighter as a hatchling was borned. Vormanax smirked. ''Bring me the chains! He bellowed.

Ten shadow dragons scrambled around and bought their master the chains. The hatchling, on the other side, was dazed. What was happening? The hatchling screamed in pain as Vormanax grabbed it with his sharp claws. ''Don't worry, hatchling. You'll do just fine.'' Vormanax said as he and the other shadow dragons flew away.

Chapter 02
A Dark Home

The hatchling was confused. First of all, some dragons just shoved it into a cell and left. Second of all, those dragons also chained the hatchling up! Who were these dragon? Are them it's family? Those questions circled the hatchling's mind.

Meanwhile, a tall, sleek shadow dragon bowed down to Vormanax and stood up. ''Did you did it?" Vormanax growled. The dragon nodded his head. ''It's eyes says it all. It is the Celestial Dragoness.''

''Make sure she is alive, Silentflame.''

''Yes, my king.''

Like his mate, Hsenuia and his daughter, Scarlet, they hated to be a part the shadow dragons. Before he was a part of them, Silentflame stood up and tried to kill Vormanax but he told him, ''Fight me, you die. Join me, be spared.'' Silentflame had no other choice but to join him.

Back in the dark cells, the hatchling was weeping. Tears flooded her eyes. All happiness has been drained away from her until...

''It's the prophecy!"

''It is!?''

''Yeah! Look!''

This made the hatchling comfortable. She lifted up her tiny head and saw a brown dragoness with a green dragoness with strange markings who was her daughter. ''Don't be afraid of them, little one. They're like all of us.''

The hatchling turned her head around. It was Silentflame. ''Did you hurt her, Hsenuia? Scarlet?'' He asked. Scarlet shook her head. ''Why would we hurt her, dad?'' She replied. ''She's the Celestial Dragoness!

Hsenuia, who wasen't paying attention to Silentflame, prodded over to the hatchling and said, ''You'll get used to it.'' The hatchling, whom was still dazed, felt this dragoness was right. She needed to relax. She needed to do what was right.

''Go.'' said Silentflame.

Hsenuia quietly snuck away and flew. Flew to the Dragon Temple to find help and stay there until it was the right time.
