Or it's me, or people are telling the truth about NOT upoading anything related to BEN Drowned.
Lol. I shouldn't have done that.
Anyways, that's not what I was about to say. I was rather going to ask:
Have you ever read/seen anything and have at least dreamed/been scared for it for more then two weeks?
Or did you feel haunted?
I'd like to hear.

As a kid yes, nowadays no.
Here's an example, I watched my parents play Resident Evil and Silent Hill, and then I'd get random nightmares of being there in the actual games themselves. And I remember specifically before I got attacked by a creature, or a zombie, I'd wake up thinking that I'm awake when I'm not and then I'm back in the terrifying nightmare again. Nowadays I just have dreams that are just awkwardly random and weird. It involves a real life situation but it twists it on his head, and makes it either really awkward, or just stupid, or both. I also watched films like The Sixth Sense, and the Gift, and those used to freak me out afterwards as a kid, then I would feel haunted. Now I don't really care. Most of the time I find that kind of stuff amusing now, I just think it's ridiculous. |

Nope⦠maybe when I was 5 and used to always watch my brother play gory shooting games.
After that, I don't really get haunted or have nightmares about scary stuff.

I watched "The Lovely Bones" (I think that's what it was called) and I dreamt the rapist was coming after me. But that was only one night. Plus he's a straight rapist so I really didn't have anything to be afraid of

I was told about the Bloody Mary story when I was 6 and I had nightmares for months. I couldn't leave my room at night, couldn't go to the restroom without my dad turning the light on for me. And I was deathly afraid of the dark.

When I was really young, I'd watch horror movies (either at home, with my cousin, or my old friend who was my age named Sarah who had a ton of them) when my parents weren't watching (like Cabin Fever, Jeepers Creepers, Urban Legends, The Grudge, Friday the 13th, etc.) and they really freaked me out. I'd try to sleep with the lights on, but I couldn't because I'd be afraid and whatnot. That kind of stuff haunted me for years, but it's fine now. I rarely even have nightmares anymore about anything (when I do, it's almost always zombies...
![]() I was also scared of closing my eyes while showering because for one, I saw the movie cover of a movie called Mosquito Man at a rental store and I was scared he was outside my curtain. Furthering that, I was watching TV alone one day and accidentally changed it to the wrong channel and by a stunning coincidence, the old black and white movie Psycho was on, EXACTLY at the beginning with the lady being stabbed in the shower part. Those haunted me for a couple of months, but as I said, horror movies don't freak me out anymore. I hope I'm using this topic correctly?

Not haunted but tormented, yes. I have recurring nightmares about Nightmare, I don't know why but every freaking time he kills me, not a pretty sight either. It's been going on for several months. I don't like Nightmare at all, I know he's not real but he really does scare the crap out of me. ![]() |

I read Jeff the Killer. I was fine with it for awhile, then I had a couple of recurring dreams of me BECOMING him. The part with the fire always hurt a lot.

I was afraid of things as a kid, but now it's just discomfort if anything. Fear is a completely subjective feeling.
Never been "haunted", "tormented" or anything. Though I'd like to get a first hand experience on something strange happening. |

I fell into a mild case of the Tetris Effect for a few months after playing tons of Tetris DS a couple of years back. I liked looking at objects to see how I could organise them. I think that affected me more than anything like a Creepypasta or scary movie. It actually made me better at organising things, and it wasn't really affecting me to the point it was debilitating- I liked to think about it a lot of the time, although my Tetris effect wasn't popping up when unwanted- so it ended up being positive overall.
![]() I have harpaxophobia though, but it's getting better lately and it's much better than it was last year, so ehh... I think that one will wear away. It's still worrying, but it's not so much that it's debilitating to me any more(it was so bad at one point that I refused to leave the house at all). I also used to have apiphobia because my mum told me I was allergic to bees once(and I still don't know if that's true- she says I'm not if I ask her now, but I just get the feeling that's her trying to get me to me stop worrying about bees). I'd get really stiff or jumpy around them, and if it was sunny during Spring or Summer or I was near flowers or right next to a tree, I'd be paranoid about running into bees. However, now I just kinda creep around any spots where I see bees. I'm not so worried about them any more.

Well...There was a time where I would listen to Ordinary Gamers reading creepypastas. Then after those very good scary ones, I wasn't really able to sleep well. It was so bad that I had to use my DSi sound music app to listen to soothing music to get me to sleep. And thank goodness that was over the summer.

When I was younger my VHS player would really scare me, especially when it was dark in the room. I always had to have someone with me when it was rewinding tapes, or would at least have the lights on. It had two glowing red lights that looked like eyes, and was set on top of the television, making the screen look like a giant mouth. It looked like a monster and even now listening to my VHS player rewind tapes spooks me a bit.
