Read the book. The movie made the last part overly dramatic

I've seen it, and I cried, and we're in the middle of watching it in English. I can't wait to see the reactions of the people who've never seen it smilie we read the book, and some idiots still haven't figured out what actually happened at the end..

We watched it in 7th grade, and almost every kid thought that Bruno was a young Hitler.....And of course, I was angrily cussed at and told that I was stupid when I explained to them it wasn't.

Ah, America.

That movie wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. When I would hear people talk about it, they would make it seem like this horrible and terrifying movie that would show disturbing scenes from inside concentration camps and stuff. I mean, it was still pretty disturbing at certain parts, but nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. Still a good movie, though.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas... I only saw the ending on YouTube... so sad omg smilie

Correct me if I'm wrong, 'cause I've only seen the ending of the movie one time, but didn't he sneak in to help the boy find his dad or something? He's just a kid that doesn't really know what's going on, he was just trying to help a friend. I wouldn't exactly call him ignorant because of that.

Oh wow, I remember watching that movie in my 10th grade Honors English class (worst mistake I've made besides signing up for a Calculus class this year). We read Night by Elie Wiesel before hand, one of the few books I actually liked, as you'd expect a lot of Holocaust survivor stories to be, it's heart-wrenching. And oh god, that movie, I actually almost cried when we were watching it in class, that ending really got to me.

wtf he was just a little kid, and people don't deserve to die even if they are being "nosy" as you put it
