It was a "late bloomer" meaning it was introduced only just recently. Activision's move to release variants for games that have been completed for a couple of years was my signal to get out of the variants business--you'll never be truly "done".

Honestly if any collectors can keep up with all the variants, more power to them. It's not for me though, as long as my son gets all the in-game variants he's going to be happy. Though he is asking for one now so I might get him one of the easier to find solid color ones (his favorite color is red so the cheaper drill sergeant should tide him over I just hope he never sees that Camo or I might have to ruin his day about that one)
