I agree, although I have seen movie trailers in the past that looked awesome, then the movie ended up sucking. We'll all just have to wait and see before we really make any judgements, I guess.

I'll try to make sure my fanboy side of me doesn't make me biased about this movie. Though, these days, even with things I used to be mega fans about, I criticize more than haters of those things.

I used to hate how they made the characters grow up, but now I love the idea.

So I really liked the first movie. And I'm kind of glad that I wasn't the only one who thought that - not just a massive group of people online, but actual critics praised the **** out of it when it realised.

But...

No matter how much I liked the first movie I can't ignore my doubts. Rise of the Guardians was another brilliant recent Dreamworks film, but for every HTTYD and ROTG you got... The Croods... And Turbo... And then the recent Mr. Peabody and Sherman film that everyone seemed to dislike...

So yeah. Whilst Dreamworks have had some really good moments, they've had some downright awful moments too.

I have some hope that this movie won't slip up, though I'm gonna lower my expectations just to be cautious.

^I thought The Croods and Turbo were really good imo. I haven't seen Mr. Peabody and Sherman (yet) but I've heard a lot of good things about it so I have high hopes for HTTYD2.
