Not really, I mean they will say they are but they aren't really proud of it. Many of them play sports, so if you have failing marks you can't play.

Not here no. I'm more likely to find people that act out and then question why they failed. They know it's bad to fail; they just don't get why.
Then again I'm currently in a school full of people that surprisingly have more appreciation for good grades than my previous normal school has had.

No but two people at my previous college plagiarized on a midterm paper with the same answer they found online... And the answer they stole was written by their teacher like 7 years ago on his own website...

eh, im in a pretty bad school so there's tons of people like that here, but idk it's their choice? im not gonna judge them solely on that.
they're probably living a better life than us right now too idk

I don't think he was trying to be cool, but I knew a guy who's average was around 20 in one of his classes. I think he was jsut extremely lazy and hated school.

I know that I overhear people say things such as, "yeah man im so gonna fail this class lol" "i got a D on this important test aw yeah" "were failing math class but its pointless anyway amirite" "youre failing this class too?!?!?! high five bro!!" etc... They sound like they're proud of it and think they're cool but I'm just assuming. I don't know for sure if they're really cool with failing.

I don't think people solely think they're cool for failing several classes, it's moreso because they think that they don't need school to succeed in the future and thats what makes them think that they're cool, whether they're wrong or not really depends.

At my school, they don't necessarily think they're cool for it, but most of them definitely don't care. The sad thing is, this leads people around here to think that bad grades are almost always due to apathy, and the ones who really struggle don't get the help that they need. So, a group of bad apples ruin the whole orchard.
