I never understood why people feel the need to make videos with hours of dubstep in them. What makes dubstep so different from other genres that it gets giant videos of nothing but it (easy listening is the only other genre that gets this treatment)?

I've seen videos that lasted for hours and all a video would consist of is a repetition of a funny line from a show or something. Why do it?

Anyways, dubstep is quite popular right now. And since it all kinda sounds the same (it does to me, anyway), it's easy to make one long, seemingly never ending video that kinda flows nicely.
But does it really matter? If you like it, enjoy it. If not, don't watch it and make your own ten hour videos, I mean... xD

10 hour videos are still made for humor purposes.

I mean how there are actual dubstep playlists. Dubstep may be popular but so is rap and there aren't any rap playlists. I just don't get what makes dubstep so different, especially when dubstep has gotten a lot of **** as of late (dubstep is hit or miss for me).

To me, Dubstep just sounds like a bunch of Transformers having seizures.

Urg, I had dubstep so much. It's just little random noises and it quickly gets repetitive.
