There's a computer game I can't remember much of:
So, I think I played it in 2004-07 (not sure) on a Windows computer (98-99) but I don't remember much.
Let's see... Pressing space leaves bombs that explode when stepped on (whether you or an enemy step on them), arrow keys to move. You can view the whole map at once, there are colored stars worth extra points, colored keys to unlock colored locks, and that's all I can remember.

I have a similar game I enjoyed yet can't recall the name of.

I'm pretty sure I played it on an old Mac. Roughly around 2002-05, though the game is likely older. It was a dungeon explorer game. You could view the full map of the room you were in and had to get though a maze to reach the end to progress to the next room. The window didn't take up the full screen as it was like one of those pre-installed games where it only took up its own small window. I believe there were monsters to fight and at times you had to get a key to unlock doors.

Seems rather similar to Weebbby's game....
