Ha ha ha... Yeah I didn't exactly enjoy the ending either. I can understand why Roth did it, and from a writing perspective it's the only ending that really makes sense, but mother of god WHY???

I also think that the ending was bad, but also that it is one of the few things that makes sense to do. One of the few books I've ever nearly teared up at.
