i don't know if there's any relaation between care of chickens and ducks, but i've read some stuff and if we can't get another dog, i could do this.

Ducks and chickens are pretty similar. The only difference when it comes to caring for them is the food you buy for them. And ducks like to swim, so if you do adopt her, maybe get a little baby swimming pool or something? Not an inflatable one, though.
