So all the physics classes at my school do a Rube Goldburg Day at our school. Since this year I am a physics student, Jessica, my two friends and I are a team for this competition. We have most of our machine done, but here's the kicker:
It's supposed to be super windy that day, and part of our machine uses dominoes.

What that part does, is a small piece of wood hits it, then the dominoes fall over and hit a marble. What should we use instead of the dominoes?

Well, if you can't find any replacements you could just shift some parts of the machine to make the wood hit the marble directly. I know it'll be a hassle, but so would having the dominoes tip over and trigger the rest of the machine.

As for replacements, however.. Not entirely sure. About how long is the space you need to fill?
