I'd be getting DotD somewhere in November or December.

I expected to get it but I'm not getting it for the PS2. I have to wait to get the PS3.

I love the PS2 Nothing wrong with it at all, though when more games come out for the PS3 that I really want like FF13, I'll have to get it, but that won't be until I leave college, until than PS2 is great still I won't be getting the game until December, since my grades for the quarter have to be good for me to get it. I hope to get it sooner, but I have other things to keep me busy until than.

I believe, because the disc WILL be dual layer, that the PS2 version may load levels/other-stuff slowly unless these guys are great with programming. Same with the PS3 version; that kinda scares me because of what happened with Sonic Next Gen: SonicTeam sucked at PS3 programming (as well as Glitch Box, but that doesn't matter to me), and there were slow loading times (but not terribly slow), irritating things that killed you randomly or just didn't work well/right, and other stuff.

Bad programming = crap game

Hopefully these guys understand programming for all the systems they're putting the game on.

I wanted the 60GB for it's Hardware BC. But well, I'm forced to get a 80GB without BC in 3-4 weeks.

Also, the PS2 version will be lackluster, even on a PS3.

not true ! the fist handfull of PS3 could but they kept going wrong, so you can NOT play PS2 games on PS3 anymore !

It's better than nothing though, eh? My 80GB has always worked for me when I've kept it up to date. Very RARELY does the sound on ANB/TEN cut anymore, so in a few more updates there should be no problems with it.

Huh? You mean it'll still load slowly? Eh uh, no. I borrowed a PS2 version of Enter The Dragonfly, and the longest loading time I had was two minutes.

lawlz, if the PS3 is in a warm area and playing a PS2/1 game it'll sound like a fan and if you play for multiple hours, it'll heat a bedroom (or even with just a PS3 game). 8D I loved that bit about it when I got it since that was back in December.

Glitch Box also has a lot of techincial errors because Microsoft is CRAP, but it's also cheap hard ware. The only real difference between the original Xbox (which was even better than the PS2 in hard ware standards) is that it has a better speed to us for games (cell processor I believe it's called) and a better video card.

Everyone has lost money on their consoles (at least at first) and are trying for cheaper prices for more sales, but MicroSoft still isn't getting much from the Glitch Box; Sony's at least makin' a little, and I'm not sure at all about what Nintendo has going on, but because of how many sales they have, I believe they've made some money from the Wii and DS.

It seems I still have to retain my PS2.

Why would anyone ever give up their PS2? Even though I hardly play mine anymore, I'm still keeping it (fun to use on road trips in the car, it's small enough to fit anywhere!)

I plan to use the PS2 on the car. I just got the Eliminator that converts the weird round sockets into actual power plugs. My laptop ran perfectly.

I'm gonna try to convince my mom or just start saving money for a 60GB from Play N Trade since they always seem to have them, and I'm gonna ask how much I could get for my 80GB.

Or, maybe I could find out on their site... I'm gonan check GameStop's as well, though. :/
EDIT: XD For the retro games picture on the home page, they have a Brawl version of Sonic. Still makes me happy to see Sonic as an icon though. xD They had a picture of him from Next Gen above the PS3 games as well, and they even have an original TEN poster that still says "Coming Oct 27(?)!" at my store.

Yeah, but it's not a hand held for a reason; it's hard ware is very compact, making it easy to kill.

Why did the people take away the backwards compatible PS3s and start making lame PS3s that can't play PS2 games and cause a whole waste of cash?
