Because of the recent happenings in S&N, I have been advised to reduce the leniency of the posts in S&N and have things set more closely to the forum rules.

So, I advise you all to be careful what you post that may be inappropriate. I've been seeing a lot of that lately.

Why would anyone photoshop a skylander on to a Cancer ribbon awareness image? Little disrespectful to people who try to tell people of what ribbons mean for certain types of cancer. Just saying.

Long, long time ago, in a GB far away....

I was told that the rules are less strict in S&N because it was S&N. I was trying to report for spamming and I was told that it wasn't a big issue in the section merely because it's meant to be more loose than other sections of the forums.

Don't get trigger happy.

I'm surprised that no-one's asked yet..

What "recent happenings"? What made this change?

Are you saying that you guys haven't been enforcing the forum rules to their fullest extent before because you were told to be lenient?

Alright, thanks. I thought it was just some trend topic. I'll take a look.

Why ain't in closed anyway? Ah, well..

Edit: Ok, I read it and I'm having a hard time believing that this is the source of all this newfound caution.

I mean, sure, somePerson made an awful joke and many users called him out on that. It's serious, but not more serious than someone generally offending a bunch of users..
The only noteworhty difference to any other topic where something goes wrong is the fact that dark52 posted saying that it's wrong. Does it change something?

I dunno, maybe it's just something that's accumulated over time. I'd still like an answer from someone who knows what this is all about.
