Hey there this is just little story about this dragon called Ray who's father doesn't like very much, because he believes that he must be a strong dragon warrior and never have time for fun and adventure. So its one day when Ray decides to leave home and find his true calling...
PS. My chapters are really short! (depending) And I will leave the story after every two chapters Okay!?

Chapter One: The Evil Father!
Ray pranced around the grassy fields with his best friend Kira. Butterflies fluttered everywhere and the chilled summer breezes whistled quietly. Ray's ruby red scales glittered brightly in the warm sunlight. The two dragons then came to a stop when they heard the noise of heavy wing beats. They looked up at the sky and saw a big, dark green dragon landing toward them. It was Hugo Ray's father. As soon as Hugo landed he stared at Kira then at Ray.
"What do you think your doing out here jumping around like a complete idiot?" He said loudly. Ray looked at Kira then at the floor.
"W-we were just playing," he sobbed. Hugo thumped his tail on the ground hardly.
"Well dragons don't have time to play. They train. Now come on lets go," he demanded and flew of into the clear sky again. Ray sighed.
"Bye Kira."
"Bye Ray."
Ray flapped his little wings and chased after his father.

Chapter Two: Ray's Mark!
Ray and his father landed gracefully on the training temple's balcony. Hugo looked around and took in a deep breath and let it out as a long blow.
"This is where you should be twenty four seven, young dragon," he whisper and made his way to the temple's entrance. Ray followed, slowly. Life was so unfair living with HIS dad, if only he had a dad that cared. A dad who cared if he had a friend, a dad who was proud of their son when they did something stunning. But most importantly...a dad who loved!

Ray stood in the middle of the training room with a big fire wall around him. Hugo circled the outside of the ring and examined Ray as the training dummies came toward him. Ray torched every single one with his flame breath. Ray was rather good at his training with fire but when it came to electricity! :s
"Okay Ray you seemed to of passed the fire test well but now for electric," Hugo explained. Then in a flash the fire wall became an electric wall. Dummies charged at Ray. Ray's heart pounded. Suddenly he felt it inside him all the anger his father had been putting him through so he zapped all the dummies dead and rammed out of the wall.
"Ray what are you doing this is no time for play. Get back in the circle!" Hugo shouted. But Ray took no notice and stared at his father angrily.
"Dad I've had all my life living with your cruel ways, but it stops here!" Ray growled and a streak of lighting shot out of his mouth. The lighting head straight for Hugo. The side effects stung as if a millions of wasps had come and jabbed Hugo all at once.
"How dare you, you little disrespectful hatching."
Hugo swiped his tail through the air sending Ray flying into the wall of the room. Ray landed on the cold stone floor with a thud. He tried to get up but couldn't. Hugo walked over to his son and pinned him down with one gigantic paw. Ray squirmed to get out of his fathers strong grip but just couldn't. Hugo raised his other paw and scratched Ray right across the face. Ray squeaked in pain.
"Maybe that'll teach not to mess with an elder dragon," he yelled releasing Ray. Ray's eyes filled with tears.

Chapter Three:The Runaway
It was a cold starry night. Ray opened his eyes and looked at his snoring father in the corner of the rooom. He slowly snook past him and quietly made his way out of the house. The dragon village was deserted and misty. Ray ran down the long road running through the middle of the village and took a sharp turn at the end entering the thick scary forest. The dull leafy trees made spooky faces at Ray as he ran.
'Perhaps runnong away was a bad idea,' he thought. Suddenly an ear peircing raor split the air. Ray jumped in fear. He paused and glanced up at the sky. A flock of savage dreadwings flew by. Ray started to walk on but hesitated to look down.
"There's something get 'im," yelled the assin. Ray's mouth drop with ultimate shock as a giant dreadwing swooped toward him. Ray quickly dashed out of the dreadwings long claws and ran as fast as his little legs could carry him.

Ray stopped panting heavily at a peaceful creek in the centre of the forest. The small lake glittered dimly in the moonlight and teensy fireflies hoverd around. Ray had seemed to of lost the dreadwing. He dragged himself over to the lake and took in big gulps of fresh water.
"Ah nice," he whispered to himself. The grass beneath his feet was moist. Ray shivered then curled up on the ground. It was rather comfortable.
