Hi, I have been playing for about 3 months I think and am at level 32. As part of the everlasting question of strategies and gem spending, I was hoping someone could give me an idea of what level of payout you get from giant houses.
I have 2 halls of legends as you get them with stones, but trying to evaluate the value of investing gems in giants and giant houses.
Thanks!

I've easily made my gems back after purchasing these houses. I have them all and I think I collect nearly 100 gems a day between all of them.

Payout for giant houses is max 5, with the exception of hothead's house. The max is 8 for that one. I'd start with the ones that have sidekicks to put in there as well (water, life, magic, undead) and ve the giants for travels or unboxing gold chests.

But first: do try to max out legendary houses and your legendary skylanders (although I wouldn't spend any gems on buying those skylnders, rather I'd spin for them or ask friends for their legendary skylanders to use)!! Cheap to buy the house with wishstones and same gems payout.

Thanks. Do all the giants have their own house? I have had eye-brawl from the start as I own the physical toy but have never seen his house come for sale.
Edit - just read on a post about offers that someone had an eye-brawl house offer. So that's my question answered for him at least.

All giants DO have houses. For those giants with variants and sidekick versions, you can put the variant in the house as well. Tree Rex and Thumpback are the best as they both have a variant (Gnarly Tree Rex and Admiral Thumpback) as well as a sidekick version. So you can put either of the 3 in their house. Hot Head does give more than 5 (I believe I got more than 5 out of another giant house, too, but I don't remember which one), but it's not common. I'd try to get Tree Rex's or Thumpback's house, first. Then may Hot Head. Eye Brawl's house will have 2 possible occupants as well, so it's a good buy. Bouncer has the Legendary variant, but I would rather put him in a Legendary house. Crusher also has 2 possible occupants. Now that we have the daily personal offers and they're all available, it might be for most just a matter of which they get on sale first. Before they were only available at certain times and rarely went on sale. So there was a little more strategy on which to get. But getting one on sale could make it a better choice, unless you want to just wait on another one to go on sale.

The only other special house that gives more than 5 gems as a max is Birthday Bash. I've had 6 gems from him many times.
