If there wasn't enough room in the habitat, couldn't they have sold the lions to another zoo?

Very disturbing to read. I agree with Metallo, why couldn't they give or sell the lions to another zoo? Those lions and cubs did not have to be euthanize.

It's ****ing disgusting. I'm not a fan of zoos, but I'd rather see those animals in almost any other zoo... they need to close that place down. I'm sure another place would've taken those lions like how they were offering to take poor Marius (the giraffe they killed).

Or something better, ship them to a sanctuary. There are tons of sanctuaries around the world...

That just doesn't make sense to me. Couldn't they just give them to another zoo or release them?

Apparently, the zoo says they couldn't find and zoos that "didn't" have room for them.

It's obvious that careless idiots are running this zoo. Considering they also euthanized a healthy giraffe for the same exact freaking reason they euthanized the lions. Even though there were lots of zoos willing to pick her up, a businessman willing to give 700,000$ to save her and petition which 20,000 people have signed, they euthanized the giraffe anyway, and in front of a large crowd, which was mostly composed of children.

Nuke this piece of dung out of the sky and whip their horrible all time low workers.

Yeah, they shot the poor thing in the head in front of a crowd, I guess for "entertainment" or "learning" purposes, then fed the carcass to the lions that are now dead.
