one day the farmer's horse ran away, and his neighbors came over and said, "that is very bad luck"

the next day the horse came back and brought two other horses. the farmer put the two wild hoses in a cage. the neighbors came over and said "you have very good fortune"

a day later the farmers kid tries to ride one of the wild horses, sadly the horse bucked him off and the kid broke his leg :/

this is the story on how the yin and yang works. good can become bad, and bad can become good. unlike the western style of thinking where good must win over evil, in the east they see them as complementary. it's like trying to destroy left because you prefer the right. it cant be done.....
