I like all paths equally for Hoot Loop. He's one of the few skylanders that you can't go wrong with no matter what you choose. I'm glad I have the regular as well as the enchanted version, one for each set of paths.

Hypno-Owl: Makes the enemy slower

Escape Artist: Can teleport if the enemy regains speed.

I like Hypno-Owl/Escape Artist the best personally.

I think Dream-Weaver is an objectively better path than Hypno-Owl, I just prefer Hypno-Owl because Bad Dreams Beam feels a bit cheap to use to me due to its power. If you avoid enemies well enough you can basically just spam that, which isn't difficult at all. I think using the hypnosis with your wand projectiles requires more strategy. (Or maybe I just prefer the kind of strategy hypnosis+projectiles require...)

And for Loop there's no contest. I find Telekinesis iffy to use, at least it's certainly not as fun as Escape Artist. It takes too long to charge to be an effective attack. Grand Entrance doesn't even work with Infinite Loops, which was a huge disappointment. But the upgrades you get from Escape Artist are fun to use and just more effective. The loops end up doing good damage down Escape Artist anyway, better to add the escape tactic you get in exchange for slightly less power. And like I said I think Telekinesis is too difficult to charge very often so I think the damage boost from Escape Artist adds up to more and is just more useful with how often you use teleportation anyway.

Escape Artist is amazing, you can use the teleport attack without worrying about getting hurt while doing it. I also chose the Hypno Owl path, but only because I wanted the hypnosis attack to be better since I use it more than the staff one.

Hypno-Owl / Escape Artist. Seems I'm usually in the minority in path choice polls.

Thanks for the tips . I was going to try dream weaver because it sounds better for boss monsters but i had no idea for his lower half .

I shall try dream weaver and escape artist .
