If you're impatient, go back to the previous Spyro games and play through them in order... although personally I doubt theres gonna be a Spyro (or Crash Bandicoot for that matter) game this year.

Etranges Libellules (who made DOTD) are secretly working on a new Asterix game, so I dont think they'll do the next Legend of Spyro game if there is one.

Well yeah. If Activision is looking to rake in cash for Spyro, would they seriously toss the game to some no-name, has been team of developers? HECK NO! You throw it to a development studio that people actually recognize. Nothing sells games better than big name development studios.

QFT, quite sadly. There are some good games out there made by low name companies. Then again, there are reasons companies like Activision, Square Enix, Ubisoft, EA, etc sell a lot...

And reasons they eat each other up in corporate mergers.

Some merges are great, but it's the takeovers I don't like all that much.

I get what you mean >.> I liked the Squaresoft/Enix merger, but I'm not all that pleased with the Square Enix/Eidos merger.

I agree with this, it kind of needs to stop.

Well then why not ask dark (politely) to sticky one of the "make a Spyro game!" topics, so people stop making them. =_="

I think that people should make 'My idea of the next Spyro game' topics, because most people like to share their ideas, its good to share ideas with everybody, most of the time. And who knows, it might actually be the next Spyro game! Who knows? But that's just my opion, though.

^ They can, as long as they don't make a topic about it. Because there is already a topic for people to put there game ideas in.
