Does anyone know what the Symbol on Cynder's head means? Or is it just a tattoo like the diamond shapes.

I'm not having any luck finding the meaning for Cynder's forehead symbol, I think the creators just made the symbol up. It kind of looks like a half cycle with to quarter cycles under it.

Probably just a design the artists put on her, so she didn't just have a big blank spot there.

I think she got all her "tatoos" when she were corrupted by smilie. It could be like a marking showing that she ones turned evil against her will or something. I dunno.smilie

Don't get us started. They all have different setups. I was simply wondering if the symbol had any value.

However I think Cynder's spines look cooler than Spyro's blades.

Yeah, I like the spines that are connected on the back of Cynder's neck, that's a nice feature. And now, her six pairs of horns, that's a neat feature too.

Anyway, Cynder was probably born with the symbol on her head, or could have gained it when she was corrupted by Malefor.

Wasn't the scarab beetle a symbol of death? It seems to match her former position. But I would have thought it's color would've been filled in. Mabey in the next game It will serve a purpose.

I almost wonder if the hermit put it on her.

It'll just be a birthmark. Spyro has little patches on his scales, it'll probably be the same as that.

I think it's just a natural marking that most/all female dragons have in lieu of the ornate head spikes that males have. It's never been suggested that her markings are anything unusual and they are the same color as her hip/shoulder/eye markings.

It's possible it could be a sign of enslavement to the Dark Master. But maybe it is a female-dragon thing or like LegendarySpyro said, it may be a birthmark. Maybe all black dragons have these markings.

Well, according to the dragon generator, all female dragons in the DotD style have head markings and most of them in the TEN style do as well. Officially, the only thing that's ever been mentioned that specifically links Cynder to darkness is her jewelry and no one has ever remarked (in game or otherwise) on her head markings, so it can probably be assumed that they are a natural part of most female dragons.

So all girl dragons are evil, then? Because all of them had head markings of one sort or another, just like Cynder does.
