i mentioned rayman in another thread, then noticed that there wasn't a dedicated rayman thread here. so i've decided to make one! feel free to discuss anything related to the rayman series here :) i will try to keep this first post updated with any new info.

Retold seems kind of unnecessary given how well the original release of Legends holds up (visually or otherwise), but it still looks incredible and I'm loving all the new stuff that's getting added. Also pretty excited to replay Origins again.

Agreeeeed I'm mixed on it since I'd rather see a new Rayman game rather than a remake of a relatively-recent game, but it still looks really fun.

i'm in a similar boat, i do like all the stuff they're adding and i'm excited at the prospect of new musical levels, but i really just want a new fully original rayman game. i felt similarly about the rayman 1 rerelease they did prior to this, like year it's cool to have all these versions of the game easily accessible with new extras, but it's still the same game i've played before, y'know? hopefully after this they turn their focus towards a wholly new rayman entry.

Game was sadly delayed until December 3rd, but I'm honestly okay with that as there are other games coming out or that have come out that I also want to get and it just means it'll (hopefully) be more polished by the time it finally comes out.

I am very excited for Rayman Legends Retold, as a fan of the original Legends, getting more of that is good but yeah. been a while since we got something that wasn't a mobile game or anything like that. but if it's a way to see if there is interest in more Rayman, I'm here for it, especially for those delicious music levels!
Having Billy West return as Murfy is pretty big for me, shame that we have no John Leguizamo Globox when obvs Rayman has had the same actor for years
