i had blueberry pancakes this morning!

i love hash browns so much it's been my favorite breakfast food since i was a little kid. i used to get the hash browns from burger king and it was yummyy.

i'm also a big fan of biscuits and gravy as well as french toast!

... i might have to go have hash browns or some other breakfast food for dinner now LOL

my breakfast was mac and cheese, as I tend to need to get creative for my meals

which is funny because for late lunch I actually had breakfast food

fast food breakfast sandwiches are da best

I'm not usually hungry in the morning and struggle to eat breakfast but been trying to eat a waffle or something similar since they're fairly quick and easy. If anything I usually have breakfast foods like eggs and bacon and whatnot for dinner.

I generally don't muster an appetite until like 3PM, but I usually start my day with a soda and a raspberry Uncrustable

I ate an entire precooked chicken from the grocery store for breakfast today because I was too lazy to make anything. I don't regret it.

I am going to opt to be the obnoxious weirdo on this kids game forum. The reason some foods are associated with breakfast is because of Edward Bernays, the father of propaganda and the nephew of Sigmund Freud. As recently as the 1920s, the Beech-Nut Packing Company wanted to sell more bacon, so they hired ol' Ed. He spun up a marketing campaign to imply bacon is healthy. "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" is marketing. Bernays is behind more sinister PR pushes as well.

That said, while I don't usually eat breakfast. I do love a lot of foods that he associated with it. Love me some omelettes or anything else with eggs, biscuits and gravy, and toast or french toast.

oh gurl you know ball <3 i actually quit smoking last month after 7 years cause i had some teeth taken out and that was a chance to quit that i probably wouldn’t have again but my GOD do i miss it, at least there’s oat milk and decaf (i’m vegan and don’t let myself have more than one caffeinated drink a day)

oh congrats on quitting! as someone who recently cut out caffeine hugely (except for the occasional soda), decaf is pretty yummy to have. it's nice to be able to taste a coffee without the addiction

Yeah, congrats! I've been quit since last October Caffeine is the next beast I need to tackle, for sure. The habit of sipping a soda throughout the day is just as devious as popping a cig in your mouth tbh

Congrats on quitting. I can be a weirdo again. I mentioned Edward Bernays in a previous post, and he is the reason why women smoke too, generally speaking. A cigarette company hired him to figure out how to expand that market.

I love breakfast haha. A classic runny over easy egg + hashbrowns + bacon is my Saturday morning tradition, but I also love baked goods for breakfast. Had some chocolate chip pancakes and a peach today!

Does medication count as a breakfast meal? :3

i had cereal this morning. i usually prefer cereal as a lunch or dinner, but i've been warming up to it as a breakfast again for the first time since i was a kid.

I had mcdonalds for breakfast since my mom came into town and it was her treat, lmao. as I said earlier in the topic, fast food breakfasts are really good, I love sausage breakfast sandwiches especially

i had oatmeal today, the last of my oatmeal. it was brown sugar and cinnamon flavored, and i added blueberries and a small bit of peanut butter to it. i will have to get more oatmeal soon, and blueberries since i used the last of them too.

I had a chocolate Bavarian cream donut but it was not Bavarian cream, I was lied to and I’m upset

It was very bitter dark chocolate

oh yeah my breakfast was fries and then ice cream a little later. it was not a great morning

Rye bread with a tiny yogurth, vitamin-heavy juice, milk and cup of coffee will do.

There was a guy who’d clearly been flipping pancakes for years with how good he was.

ketchup on eggs is awesome, especially scrambled eggs. i've done it for as long as i can remember so i'm always surprised when i remember that it's not as common (at least here in the US)

today though i had a sunny side up egg with toast and hash browns. i had some hash browns left so i wanted to finish them up!
