Depends on what you mean by hacking. I think hacking into ai is a pretty big concern rn.
You can hack traffic lights and mess up traffic badly. People also hack self driving cars too and mess them up. If you mean like making a chat ai evil probably not idk. A lot of ai rn is just training them to learn and even training them to avoid vulnerabilities to not get hacked so there's probably no evil mode. But that also means there could still be vulnerabilities.

Isolated systems can only be hacked if an attacker gives it malware or whatever else. Like for example usbs, cds, etc can be pretty dangerous as they could always hide something that you don't want breaching your devices. A big scare is free charging ports that encourage people charge their phone for free. With the price being stolen information and whatnot.
However the internet also has methods of being breached. Examples are phishing emails, bad links, bad downloads, and giving something permissions that shouldnt be given. Basically don't download stuff that you shouldnt and be careful with links. Especially links on discord.
If you mean like being able to hack one computer and on to the next there's a thing called a man in the middle attack which is when an attacker intercepts or alters the connection between two parties. Like imagine bowling but the ball randomly goes off to another lane halfway through the throw. This is how people can get their card info stolen and what not because somebody else is able to see it. Which is why https is super important when browsing the internet because it means the site you're on is the actual site it claims to be.
Dns high jacking is also a problem because it means someone has taken over your network and is able to get information through by redirecting you from amazon.com to their version of amazon.com but they can see your credit info. This is why you should be careful when using public wifi because who knows where it comes from.
