since i'm only now starting to realize i am no longer 16 (haven't been for a while) and im actually an adult, i've been getting really really nostalgic about certain things. but some things elicit this DEEP nostalgia feeling that's like no other. the first thing that comes to mind for me is the ps1 and ps2 startup sounds. like those sounds just activate some primitive response and it grants me a serotonin molecule

i know this exact feeling and i experience it every time i drive by. the house is in shambles because a bunch of hoarders moved in so i'll never see the inside of it again. makes me very sad

the sounds an atari makes when it has trouble turning on

the smell of the change of a season

the smell of a freshly sharpened pencil

the smell of paint

those are the positive ones i do have a lot negative nostalgia trigger but i think you probably wanted the good ones

Being at the store or gas station at night, especially when I'm in the parking lot and I look up at the clear night sky. Also driving on the highway at night.

The smell of firewood, and just burning firewood in general, mostly when we're cooking.

The sound of goats bleating : )

When I'm outside early in the morning and it's raining.

a weird one for me is a new experience like if i taste something i knowinnever had before or smell something or even just a situation it will sometimes trigger a deja vu or nostalgic like experience even though it should not be that
