With this spell, you can create different small effects. You can only make one effect per cast, but it gives you a list of effects you're allowed to create, and they're written with open-ended possibilities so you can be creative. A couple effects can be inflicted upon a target. This can range from creating a symbol on someone's skin to an illusionary flame in the palm of your hand. There is one such effect you can do with this cantrip: "You instantaneously clean or soil an object no larger than 1 cubic foot."

Usually, many people interpret this as just being able to clean something up with ease or make it covered in dirt/mud. However, if one is creative enough, you can soil something in very a specific manner. Say, pants, for instance.
