in hit game Crash Team Rumble you can either be on a team with 3 Crashes and 1 Spyro, or be 1 Crash against all 4 Spyros. 10/10 no joke

i know that TFB wanted to make a full on spyro/crash crossover game but idk how i feel about that. i guess it would depend on the execution - the gameplay between them is just so different that i wonder how you could even reasonably combine them. that gap is going to get potentially bigger with a realm beyond's free flight gameplay, i feel.

spyro is actually so fun in crash team rumble though. that's a spyro/crash crossover i really enjoyed! nitro-fueled as well. i can only really see this idea continuing to work in spin-off party games where the gameplay doesn't have to match mainline entries. maybe they'll prove that line of thinking wrong someday?
