Snom sounds terrifying if you use only a single one. Ice Scales would help to some degree, but with its terrible stats and equally as terrible movepool, the only way I could see being able to avoid overleveling would using multiple Snoms. Otherwise you'd for sure either have to overlevel or get extreme luck with Attract shenanigans. I waste enough time PP stalling enemies in my damage runs LOL. It would be way more tolerable against special attackers for sure.

I did a few solo runs before with weak Pokemon and they pretty much always have to overlevel. I did a Pidgey on Firered and both Ekans and Dratini on Red/Blue.

Bibarel is a solid Pokemon, but Bidoof sounds about as painful as Snom. The only things Bidoof has going for it are HP and its ability, which would be hard to make use of since setting up is always dangerous with a Pokemon that goes down easily.

This also confirms the Mew and Jirachi gifts if you have save data for LGPE and SWSH respectively.

It's also confirmed that you can get Shaymin Land Forme in Legends if you have data from SWSH

Communication functions added for the Grand Underground, Super Contest Shows, Union Room, and Mystery Gift

You’ll be able to enjoy local and internet communication functions of game features like the Grand Underground, Super Contest Shows, and the Union Room. You’ll also be able to receive gifts via Mystery Gift

Post–Hall of Fame elements added

Some game elements you’ll be able to enjoy after entering the Hall of Fame, such as Ramanas Park, will be implemented.

Note: If you have game data that reflects that you have already entered the Hall of Fame, you can play these elements immediately after updating the software.

Some in-game movies and animation added

Certain animated scenes and movies, including the opening movie that plays when the software is opened and the ending movie, will be implemented.

Note: An opening movie has been added that plays when the software is opened. You can see it by closing the game and re-opening it with existing save data.

Note: An ending movie has been added. Even if you have already reflected entering the Hall of Fame on your save data, you can see the ending by entering the Hall of Fame again.

Some issues have also been fixed for more pleasant gameplay.

Idea for a Nuzlocke
Undergroundlocke

Same rules as normal nuzlocke, until you get access to the underground!
Every encounter in the overworld now becomes a token to redeem 1 catch in the underground. Once you can go underground you must swap every encounter so far (excluding dead mons!) for one from the underground.

i might have spoiled myself with emulation because this game is so slow
