It's because a lot of the active roleplayers left a long time ago. There was only one or two roleplays that were still going, but looking at it now it seems they were either closed and people stopped posting.
It's a shame, the roleplay section used to be somewhat active a while after I joined, and there were some really cool stories being written by everyone.

Yeah, it's a real shame. I used to be one of the more active RPers there, but after a while I got busy with other things and it just became harder and harder to keep up. I still enjoy RPing elsewhere though.

I miss RPing! I used to have so much energy and creative juice to just post and write all the time there. I'm assuming the same thing happened to most of the peeps that used to frequent it, plus they've likely moved onto other sites by now if they're still RPing.

I miss that RP where the characters were put into this science testing lab/prison thing..I don't remember the title or the creator but I was SO invested, I remember spending hours reading the whole thing years ago :'(

I return to say ... I completely agree, I was also among those RPing there, kinda just stopped for a variety of reasons, but I've never actually lost the "spark" per say.

Frankly, if any of y'all want to do some with me (even if not here), feel free to send me a PM, and maybe we could do something. (Albeit I can't do anything needing human characters lol.)

I stopped because real life became too stressful and I lost a lot of my motivation for the depth I was putting into RP replies. Writing as a whole became a struggle for me. It started as a hiatus and I guess it hasn't stopped being one yet. I want to go back, but I never reached the point where I feel like I can handle it, especially since I'm have other issues right now.
