it was a well intentioned bait and switch. or at least it was supposed to be.

Anyone on twitter that goes to make a claim that either:

Has chopped up and faked evidence to make the claim

Made the claim and says "I'm gathering evidence as we speak"

Both are massive red flags, but the second one gets me more because I am seeing a lot more twats do that and it tells me, "You never had evidence and just wanted to start you massive *****".

i'd say generally yes.

i've run into too many people who will performatively say they're a bad person and that they're trying to get better but actually do absolutely nothing. self-reflectiveness might make you a less bad person, but it's really your actions that matter. it's what you do with the knowledge that you're a bad person that's important.
