there's a whole thread of concept art and some of the spyro 3 design bible! even the entire original pitch for spyro the dragon. the original ideas for spyro 1 were completely different!

The game that is described in the pitch document sounds interesting, I want to see a game like this. Not that I don't like Spyro, but I also like this idea.

I remember an old flash game that feel similar to that pitch, how to raise your dragon, it actually sound great just not a fan of only being pure evil.

same here! it's super interesting to see that the concept went from what it was to spyro, but i'd love to get a game more directly inspired by this idea.

makes me wonder who'd do it. i can't really see insomniac revisiting this idea.
