there was a period of time i would hide my bio information entirely on forums and chatrooms or straight up set it to male just because i wanted people to talk to me and treat me like the guys were being treated

i made the mistake of being born without a dick and letting people know that on internet which especially back in the mid late 2000s being a teenager caused a fair amount of torment and being an adult and STILL experiencing that everywhere that i go it s pretty obvious that what triggered the resentment i got wasn t JUST because i m a terrible person but because i m a girl period and forums online communities believe it or not uh..... are dominated by men entirely and it s difficult to fit in anywhere without just being a stereotype on purpose just so people accept or even tolerate you

i disagree with the darkspyro part though, i've never had a problem on here. me big green and blackholes ruled the forums for years with our clownposting. and most male creepers tend to lose all their friends here if people find out they've been creeping.

when i first joined i can name a few douchebags who got away with **** and although very true you will always be the queen carm i think you guys were a special case female users dropped off the site like flies at different points from either creeping/bullying almost exclusively by male users and then we have users who creeped for years and everyone only finds out later as of recent last few years in my eyes there is STILL a bad double standard problem here ALTHOUGH maybe has less to do with sex then it does the aforementioned stereotype issue that if you' re know more for "X" you can t do "Y" like another user easily could

yeah i've witnessed quite a couple of cases of male users getting way too attached to girls who gave them some attention

Honestly the only site I can think of girls having a big advantage with creepers is twitch but even then they still have to deal with creepers.
Although as a former teenage boy who can be weird with girls, I do agree that being a girl kinda sucks if you're talking to people like me.
