NGL darkspyro is basically a radioactive town in fiction. Ya'll keep coming back to the ashes and generally seem to grow worse and worse conditions until you somehow leave and stave off an addiction of drama and gaslighting that this metaphorical Chernobyl is. Then when ya do come back you may be better in health but everything here ya left in the past is mega ashes including the bodies buried.

On a serious note I am thankful that darkSpyro allowed me a place to communicate with people with no real world consequences. I was able to see that there is something horribly wrong with my head and motivated me to seek help. Of course I did have problems irl too, and I'm by no means "cured", but it's much better that I spent more time talking to strangers online than people in real life where the consequences might be more severe. I know everyone I spoke to is a real person too and their feelings are just as valid as anybody else's, I still feel really bad about everything. I have closure in the sense that I'm actually getting help from medical professionals and I can tell a difference so far, but on the other hand I'm regretful that many of those people left and will I will never get the chance to apologize to them. They are by no means obligated to accept my apology or even hear me, I just hope that some day in the distant future if one of them visits the website again they know I'm sorry, and I hope what I did to them didn't hurt them too much.

I was threatened to have legal action pursued against me at one point, and it was a very credible threat (not from this website). My point is the consequences would've been even more threatening and real if this had occurred offline. I could do a lot more damage in real life than on darkSpyro so I'm thankful that I found this place and stuck around. I know I still messed up and hurt a lot of people, I'm not waiting around for them and I'm not seeking them out, im moving on with my life, I'm getting help, but if by some chance one of them does pass by, I hope they just know I'm sorry. I'm not a heartless monster anymore and I'm taking responsibility for my actions. But I've made peace with the fact that this is a very minor part of most people's lives and in 5 years most of them won't even remember what a Spyro is anymore.

i dunno if you get what i'm trying to say though. this is not a healthy mindset to have. maybe you get some fleeting satisfaction from trying push to people's buttons, but in the end all you get is unhappiness.

the average forum-goer will just be confused about your vague comments. and at best, they will find you pitiable and at worst, pathetic. unless you're willing to call out the people who have wronged you directly — you're never going to get "revenge".

I know I usually join in with the "this site should drop dead already" jokes, but I think Carm genuinely has a point when she says "Stop acting like a ghost with unfinished business." This site is practically a ghost town at this point, and we have better things to do as a community than be mad at what has happened in the past.

The fact that some people will return just to be angry at this site and its community is really unhealthy. While spite can be a valid initial motivator, it shouldn't be the thing that continues the behavior and keeps you going. That will bring unhappiness to yourself and others who happened to get caught in the crossfire.

You're all good, I appreciate your honesty. I wrote my post mostly generally since there has been a pattern of multiple users coming back just to post about how much they hate this site and be spiteful towards the people who made them angry, but because I didn't know your situation 100%, I also wrote it slightly towards you because I was a bit concerned about you talking about the whole "revenge" thing.

But that's honestly really cool that just by being active you've shown that you're not afraid of the user who made you scared to post here a while back, regardless if they even go here anymore or not. Power to you!
