Oh sweet I get to talk about OCs. Finally. The character in my avatar is Topaz, Topaz Crimson. She is generally a anthro fox vampire of a more bat like variety. Vampires in OC world I have generally are trickesters, seducers, some times aristocratic, but can be feral like untamed lycanthropes when without a amount of time without feeding. Depending on the class and priviledge the vampire has in their society they can shapeshift into a lot of species. Generally most vampires have 3 which is domestic cat (feral. There's cat vamps too), feral fox, and the big flying form which is either bat like or Owl like. There's a split between some vampires that are more batty or owlly as of recent because of their own religious wars of whether to actually stay above ground to own a mortal kingdom for survival or trying to keep their race a secret when out and feeding. Owl like vampires are said to be above bats because their goddess Lilith is generally turning into an owl, if I am not drawing her as a scary beast entirely for rp reasons. While Bats just are like "we're equals we kind of do the same things".

Topaz's place in that whole thing is actually future monarch of a kingdom so yes she can a lot of forms thanks to bloodline and elder help. Vampires tend to take the innocent cat look sometimes and then sneak up on mortals so we have her transforming from cat to bat.

YES. Honestly a mix of Medieval and Modern stuff kind of has been my jam since... I wanna say 2003. Idk when dumb baby me figured out where the 4Kids channel is for less butchered Fairy show when trying catch Sonic X. Like Magic and Tech should just... IDK GO HAND IN HAND? Just different ways of usage. Bruh this is why the live-action adaption of Winx sucks so much ass, almost everyone is white (unironically they were a diverse cast before it was cool or like the highest demand from cooperate scum), there is no technology so Tecna who would be a good connection for the audience (Especially for e-girl lovers. Like come ooon. We're in a timeline where Winx beat out diversity and e-girls in the early 2000's wtf???) is no where to be seen.

I think so actually. It rings a bell because I remember watching and listening into on a season 8 analysis and I think that was the name of the channel of the video I viewed. Tho I am confused because of remembering a more feminine voice (idk that was a guest star or if they recently came out as trans. If it's the latter absolutely cool).
