I have no idea where it’s fitting to post that but I seek help in how to create dragons names for my Spyro fanfic, I saw that I could use name generator but being Spyro, it would be neat to know the naming convention in the series as there’s barely anything except the name being based on their breath element causing me to only come with generic cliché names as if I stick to only english or my native language(french), it’s limiting. I was unable to find any name generator based on Spyro.

honestly I thought I was the only one here neat anyways dragon names for the most part to me yeah it was puns but you can be creative with that think common elemental words and make them feel more tolkien esque if that's what you're going for


like I want to make an electric theme how about the word "fuse" not common now make it tolkien fusemont or "watt" so wattengerde or maybe if I was thinking electricity or maybe psychic I could go for something like "kinetic" so kinetika

Puns and elemental names can get limiting, so far I have a purple dragoness(that die in the prologue) named Lenea, a shadow dragoness named Fyra(not shadow related but I always called her that), a shadow dragoness that is my main villain named Tenebra, a wind dragoness that is the current wind guardian named Aeria and a future child of Fyra who is a sickly, weak and frail shadow dragoness named Oscura

je suis desolee i am from france but i do have family in Canada and also you could try finding names with meanings that represent what you want

you could try languages like greek hebrew gaelic they often sound more "ancient" to people in my experience or try names and mix then together or with tolkien esque suffixes

Hey, the behindthename website was the one I wanted to use as the truly randomized ones aside for the names had titles that were repeating themselves a lot.

I’m quite sure I saw a character with that name in an old Spyro fic called The Legend of Spyro: The Broken Line.

trevor is a really cool and awesome name bestowed only upon the most powerful dark dragons with a pure soul
