DotD's plot actually makes a lot of sense but it requires extensive knowledge of macroeconomics (both mainstream and heterodox), American foreign policy in the late 20th and early 21st century, the growing surveillance state, and the origins of the opioid crisis. Not at all surprising it went over the heads of the average player.

I keep feeling down everyday now, except when I'm reading, watching something I like, roleplaying or playing games, this year just make me want to curl up and cry and anytime I hope it will get better... I just hear more horror stories and even start dreading that people I roleplay with are maybe dead or infected. I would love to time travel to a year where it's clearly over as I'm tired that recently all my parents want to watch is the freaking news!

Sometimes when I'm feeling bad about my physical appearance I remember the time that I posted a picture on here in "post a picture of yourself " of my piercings asking if people thought it made me look gross, and like a lot of people said yes
