If you're gonna refer to the virus, call it COVID-19.

Coronavirus is the name of a large family of viruses with a "crorona-like" (latin for "crown") appearance observed under electron microscopy. SARS is a coronavirus so technically, you could be referring to the 2003 strain. It's like calling the flu Orthomyxoviridae or Ebola Filoviridae.

I know that really made me sound like a smart ass, but it's been bugging me how people who claim to know a lot about this particular virus contradict themselves by using incorrect terminology. Especially when educating the public about the disease is essential.

Corona beer is horrible. I was at a friend's Geography birthday bash and this guy bought loads of them but everyone hated it. We all had to drink at least one and fake enjoying it because it was a birthday present and couldn't be seen as ungrateful.
