oof sorry to hear that dude. electric breath isn't the best, i actually think it's one of the weaker elements, but i think when they're all maxed out they can be useful in their own way. like how you can throw enemies off ledges with the electric breath. but especially the earth sneeze, that's super cheesy.

my partner thinks electric breath's pretty useful tho, i've watched them corner an ape and just delete him from existence with the electric breath. i told them about how cheesy electric breath can be when it comes to tossing enemies off a cliff, but they said they don't get the gems from it. weird because i thought you did but i might be remembering wrong, i know that's a thing in dotd that if an enemy dies off the ledge the gems come back.

Yeah, in ANB when enemies die from falling off cliffs you don't get any gems for it (can't remember if that's the case with TEN too). It's kind of lame so I try to avoid knocking them off, especially because it feels a lot harder to get the amount of blue gems you need to fully upgrade all of your breaths compared to the sequels. As much as I like ANB, I'm glad that was fixed in DotD honestly.

TEN might or might not give gems, it depends if the kill floor is right below that part. I've gotten some extremely quickly but sometimes none because the enemy took too long to die.

And yeah, while level 2 gives you the ability to throw enemies, it doesn't compare to the fire's missile at that point.

so update, apparently enemies do give gems when you throw them off?



not a good picture but it's hard to grab, but my partner and i witnessed it with our own eyes

they're fully cheesing the game now, electricity is so op. if you throw an enemy off a ledge, even if there's ground under them, they die. their health just totally drops. they can look at the cannon guys and kill them instantly. why use anything other than electricity? well, they don't have ice yet, even tho they're at tall plains.

they're breezing through the game because of electricity and i hate it they're supposed to suffer like i did
