Angora rolled her eyes, knowing it was a matter of time before Shade got teasing mode as old times.
"You know I'm stronger than before. Keep annoying me and I'll pull one of those ugly fangs from your gums and use it as a necklace." Angora
threatened, though the comment soon brought bad memories with the time Sere confiscated one of those from her. It was back when she and Shade weren't on the most friendliest of terms and she had to keep him awake to avoid his evil self from taking over. That felt like such a far away memory now, though many of them still stung.
Quote: A GuyIlasi gave a brief chuckle at Maverick's attempt at humor. He was very out of his element - and yet he was trying his hardest to make things work. "See, Maverick? Veris really appreciates you!"
Maverick would soon find he wasn't alone on the wyvern for long. Ilasi would soon scramble up Veris' belly herself, to where Maverick was. Veris could feel her presence, but didn't mind it.
Ilasi got herself settled by Maverick before she continued. "It's very brave of you to challenge yourself like that, Maverick. And as you can see, it's very hard for anyone to not love you."[/i] Ilasi wanted to give Maverick a hug, but didn't want to interrupt him, instead settling for waiting nearby.
Maverick had a drop of sweat falling from his temple, unable to believe Ilasi's boldness. He didn't know if she was a stranger to Veris or if they've had their interactions before, but it was clear the wyvern didn't care about the new presence. Either too lazy or too caring?
"Heh, love, right. Not only does he wants a belly rub. He's also expecting me to cook something for him. He ate just minutes ago. Just where does he put it all?" Maverick wondered, not knowing whether it was fast digestion or simple greed. Veris was clear a high maintenance mount if he needed so much food to feel happy. As his arms began to tire, he was starting to feel sorry for Angora. Taking care of Veris and keeping him happy must not be easy, and on top of that she had another creature to take care of, though hopefully, Mischief was nowhere near as hard to take care of as Veris. Digi seemed to be doing a terrific job keeping her occupied and happy.
