why are gen 4 and gen 5 pokemon games being sold 3x as much as what they are worth. or more. i saw heart gold on ebay for $200. my old games were stolen and i just want to replace them man

It's due to artificial scarcity that the main games had up until around Gen VI, where they'd only make a first run of prints and no more past that initial run.
(Though that was obviously still enough to allow the games to sell as well as expected for the series)

i think they should do what they did with the gen 1 and 2 games and have them emulated through the eshop. ik they probably never will. but im so frustrated. i know i can just pirate them and everything but i need at least one actual copy to transfer my pokemon up.

Used probably has no Pokéwalker. There's also a LOT of "used" bootlegs.

it's just a fact that is a listing in the first place. used is still a ridiculous price. also another issue is gen 4 games are copied a LOT. it's easy to find a gen 4 game on ebay for $10 but you already know it's not legit.


i just think it's ridiculous that the price on these games is up so much. theres 12 million copies of this game floating around. it was never worth that much and it shouldnt be that much considering it's a decade old.

the gen 4 bootlegs are so bad that i have a bootlegged platinum from when i was 12. i didnt know it was fake until a couple weeks ago. they can sell you a $60 heartgold game but there's still a chance it is fake.

i mean sure gen 4 is the objective best gen but this is ridiculous

The Gurihiru art is amazing, as always. And yeah, hopefully they avoid making her like the West Coast version. She felt off in it, and was rather forgettable.
