I'd be pissed if I only had a Nintendo Switch or Xbox, but it's a sure good thing I just bought a PS4, now I look forward to double dipping!

Is Crunch only part of the Nitros Oxide Edition? 'cus gating off content from Nitro Kart as DLC is scummy as heck, which is pretty much Activision-Blizzard's stock for the last decade.

Yeah, none of the characters are exclusive to the Nitros Oxide Edition. It just unlocks them for you from day 1 rather than you needing to unlock them through gameplay. The skins, decals, and other things like that are the exclusives.

It's a shame it even needs to be said. What a hole they've dug for themselves. Doesn't help that they've relegated what HIR shows in the small print at the end, rather than keeping consistent or in audio, but then that doesn't get pre-orders.

Still, I do like the skins and glad they can be gained in-game. smilie

I'm willing to bet those "in-game challenges" are the things that were used to pad out the original game (the CTR token races, the Relic races, the ghost races). Though, I think remember reading that you have two options for the single-player story, including one where you can choose your character/kart combo. Assuming the latter method can be used for these extra races, I suppose it won't be as frustrating as it was back in the day.

Thank you for pointing this out. Seeing Crunch made me want to pay the $20 extra, but seeing this makes me feel so much better. The exclusive skins are ugly lol I'm not paying $20 for them.

I highly doubt it.

They'll probably make up something new for his origins, or allude to the game's events/similar events, as there isn't really any point in remaking Wrath of Cortex. (And I'd rather they didn't remake it regardless)

I’m not sure how many people already know this, but the Penta Penguin cheat works in Nitro Fueled.
I’m pretty sure he even says “penguin yay 1” when you unlock him.

Yes, when you enter the cheat code, it does say penguin yay one!

So far, this game is like amazing. I have only played Crash 1 on the PS1, and I’m thoroughly enjoying this game. I love racing games and this just makes me happy. Definitely glad I bought this game.

Finally got my hands in CTR (alongside Bloodstained and the 8" Spyro from First4Figure) and it is SO good to control. Is it just me or do the flying saucer karts give you an advantage over your opponents? Also, the Pit Stop just reeks of F2P nonsense and I swear Activision will eventually let you buy Wumpa Coins. Makes me wonder how much of a grind it'll be to unlock the likes of Spyro.

I was playing Crash WoC yesterday down in my old shed, where I keep my CRT TV. I was finishing off the game, I only had 3 Platinum Relics left to get, and then my TV went on fire. It started flickering and smoking and smelling of molten plastic it was mental. I sent it off to the skip, but I think I have another one lying around.

(Is it sad that my biggest concern is that I didn't get to save my game so I lost the Platinum on Crate Balls Of Fire?)

I forget where I heard this brought up, but will Spyro use Aku Aku, or maybe Sparx instead?

Also judging by the datamine...
There's going to be 5 Spyro character from what I can tell. This Grand Prix has 5 characters, Back N.Time has 3 already announced, with 2 more found in a datamine, and also in that datamine, data for Spyro, Gnasty Gnorc, Ripto, and The Sorceress was found. Who could the 5th character be? I hope not Hunter because he does my godamn head in, so maybe Elora, or Zoe.

Also seeing Ripto use an Uka Uka mask with the Crash Villians theme playing would kill me with fan service, holy ****.

I pretty much just main Accel characters, usually Coco and N.Gin. But given this game's Grand Prix system and how you need to use the flavour of the month character to earn more Nitro, my "main" changes monthly. For Nitro Tour, it was Megumi.

It sucks because I know Spyro is gonna be Balanced and Hunter will probably be Speed. Ripto will likely be Turn because he is the small boi. So I'm left with Gnasty or the Sorceress.

I might just go with Spyro anyway though.

I'd say that Spyro will be balanced, Hunter'll be speed, Ripto will be turn, Sorceress will be accel, and Gnasty'll be speed.
