it's almost been 2 years since i started drawing bird™

The Mettaton is amazing!

If it's hard to study though, I'd look into more rectangle and calligraphy brushes, it might speed up the process; to me getting something for quick sketches and speedpaints was invaluable because the default brush is ass for rendering.

I haven’t posted in a while bc I post my art on my main accounts with my real name on them. Couldn’t hurt to share a few sketches from the past couple of days, though. First ones are a character I’ve just dubbed “Quest Girl” and the other image are some doodles of Trixie. Like I said, don’t wanna post everything I’ve done on here. I manage to do a drawing of Optimus Prime in just four days.



One down, ten more to go. The next one is the Power Rangers but since it's six characters, it's a bit of a pain in the "butt".

Tip for big blocky characters: you can get the base colors done in one go by selecting everything outside the lineart with a Magic Wand, using Select Inverse, then going to the Select menu and using the Contract modifier to make the selection be exactly under the lineart. Then you can just put down a big rectangle in the right layer and it's going to fill that entire part.

I do that for my characters as well but it takes a lot of erasing that might be too complicated without a graphics tablet.

^ I rather the Polygonal Lasso Tool. You have more control with it than the Magic Wand so whatever colours outside the outline will be gone or filled in properly within it.

Some of my drawings are Spyro related, and most of it isn't. Any criticism, good or bad, is welcomed. Just don't be a total dickhead if it's the latter.


Aside from an unfinished drawing of Pearl from Steven Universe, this is probably the first "real" drawing that I've ever done. It is a recreation of the ending of the original Halloween II from 1981, where Michael Myers has just been shot in both eyes, and fountains of blood fall down from his face, giving the impression that he is "crying" blood. On the top right corner is where you will see the original images that my art is taken from.


This next drawing is Michael Myers once again, but this is his incarnation from the sixth film of the series, The Curse of Michael Myers. I think maybe I made the lips too big, but other than that, I think this turned out really good. I also drew the Thorn symbol on his mask's neck for fun.

I had completed a drawing of Zoe as well, but I find it's terrible, so I'm getting rid of it. I also have a crapload of other drawings, but I don't wanna make this post too lengthy. If anyone wants me to post more, kindly let me know.
