okay i've got something called "chrom theory"
chrom theory is based soley on the chrom mii costume still being in ultimate despite chrom being a fighter
so by that basis of chrom theory a mii fighter costume won't deconfirm in the same way an assist does
i know this is bull**** and all but rex and ribbon girl could be livin

Sakurai did confirm Rex didn't make on the DLC roster during the Direct, so not too sure.

Ribbon Girl doesn't make sense to be chosen instead of Spring Man but that's just me.

But yeah what you said about suits is not wrong, but I wouldn't be too excited for suit characters to become DLC.

THE GAME ISNT EVEN OUT YET TIME FOR DLC PREDICTIONS

-I believe the Square Enix rep thing, but the only two I think would make it in are Geno or Noctis, and I'd honestly rather have Noctis.
-Probably a Gen 8 tbh...
-They did Roy to coincide with Binding Blade, Corrin for Fates, I really feel like we'll get someone for Three Houses since it's out next year. I'd argue Celica has a somewhat decent shot too.
-Bandanna Dee... Please Sakurai...
-Dammit, I still think Banjo and Kazooie could get in.

Big: My main mains, feel free to include whatever character will be lowest tier (though Jigglypuff will always be #1
Medium: Secondaries I’ll just play a lot because I like them.
Small: I’ll play them a lot but not as frequently as the secondaries. Mostly newcomers and characters I’ve mained previously.

Also this was on mobile so sorry if it looks wierd.

I thought about adding Corrin, Mewtwo and Duck Hunt, but I feel that my roster would get too big.

In other news, the press went to an event to play the single player modes, and a lot of new things have been found, like Classic Modes for certain characters, a few bosses, the extra minigame that you play in Classic Mode, and a bunch of new Spirits and songs. I'm glad Studiopolis Act 1 is in. Not a remix but still.

didn't look too much into it but i did check out the victory themes
ness and lucas' victory themes are different
dark samus and ridley's victory themes are the same as samus/zss' but deeper and with a different trail off ending
LOZ victory theme is different
robin/lucina have a unique victory theme
corrin has a unique victory theme

Fighters
No hidden fighters, but that seemed obvious. There was a fighter cut at some point, based on some unnamed code. It seems to have been a Monster Hunter rep, but that's just speculation from the people leaking the info. Dixie Kong has a Mii Costume, as does Isaac. It looks like all third party Mii Costumes were cut.


Music
Here's every song in the game minus victory fanfare.
Personally I'm pumped as hell for all the new FE and MGS additions, the BEST Sonic Mania song, plus MOTHER ****ING SQUEAK SQUAD IS BACK


Amiibo
Amiibo have a level cap increase from 50 in Smash 4 to 70 in Ultimate. Predictably, there's data for an amiibo of each fighter, but it doesn't seem like there's any new redesigns or Player 2 ones.
Also, don't quote me on this, but from what I've gathered it looks like you can't use an amiibo until that fighter is unlocked? That's what I interpreted from the text file "amiibo_not_unlocked" but the streamer didn't hover over the file.


Spirits
There are exactly 1297 Spirits in the base game, here's all of them. No, there's no Final Fantasy Spirits other than an evolving Cloud one. Yes, there's a Masahiro Sakurai Spirit, I can't believe Galeem killed him. There's also a few Smash exclusive ones, like Galeem, a sandbag, and the base Mii Gunner, Swordfighter, and Brawler. Geno shows up as a Spirit too.
All the fighters have Spirits, so any idea that Spirits "deconfirm characters" is dead in the water.


Palutena's Guidance
SNAKE'S CODECS ARE BACK
Right now it only seems to be the Brawl cast, but there's a possibility we could get more down the line. Robin has a new guidence, since Chrom can't interrupt anymore.
In addition I heard something about Alucard popping up in Richter's? I don't have any real source on that outside of a series of Reddit comments but it's awesome if true.
EDIT: It's true, i saw it in a Twitch stream going through the files. I'll link it if it goes up.


World of Light
WoL has 7 actually animated cutscenes and a New Game+. It also looks like there are multiple endings.

Here's all the confirmed bosses:
Giga Bowser
Master Hand
Crazy Hand
Rathalos
Ganon
Werewolf
Dracula
Galleom
Marx
Galeem
Dharkon (Galeem's Dark Counterpart)
Fusion of Galeem and Dharkon (Final Boss)

There's some data for Balder, Bulbin, and Tabuu, but we don't know if they're actually in it yet.

There's also text saying "You freed Master Hand from Galeem's control!" and "You freed Crazy Hand from Dharkon's control!" so the hands, once again, aren't willing pawns. The last 3 bosses combined with the music tracks imply there's more unlockable maps a la Super Mario Odyssey's Dark Side and Darker Side. Basically, it seems like WoL is at least 3 times bigger than what we've seen. I hope you can unlock all the characters on the first run because having to go through 3 maps to unlock them all seems pretty grueling. Either way, we're in for a hell of an Adventure Mode.

Also, Cloud isn't in WoL.

Two series are listed as game files, with are owned by Microsoft (But where orginally on N64) These games are Blast Corps and Jet Force Gemini. These were developed by Rare. Could Banjo be coming as a Fighter?



Likely means nothing, it's too many, but there are 30 placeholder slots for characters.
