I got a three. Not entirely accurate though. A lot of the answers were more vain than I would’ve answered if it were not multiple choice, and some of them it was neither. Like for the biography one I don’t care either way but the choice of not wanting people to pry into my life felt to polarized from my apathy so I chose the other option, which is probably why my score is so high.

I feel like a lot of the questions are subjective though. Like the one about "I think I am special" vs. "I am no better or worse than most people," I feel like that's BS because you can special in your own right without thinking of yourself as above or below others. Just an example.

No vanity though and self-sufficient was pretty low too. I'm assuming vanity was the body/looks questions, I look like **** so that's understandable.

A very interesting test!! I think what I learned by taking it is that being narcissistic isn't inherently a bad trait, because a lot of these questions either give you a choice of being confident in yourself or thinking yourself as less.

Being modest is good, and it's important to know that someone will always be better than you. However, one should be confident in themselves in their day to day lives - this will avoid you being walked on and taken advantage of. The only time being narcissistic is a problem is when that confidence becomes flaw.

I once had a mentor in leadership who said "Your weaknesses are your strengths overblown," and this test honestly shows that.

Confidence is a strength, but it can turn to arrogance if over blown, making it a weakness

I have faults but I feel as though these questions were much too subjective to give accurate results. I’m not so much narcissistic as I am just confident as a person, and I find their to be value in the difference between the two. I definitely have a problem with authority and exploitativeness though, ain’t gonna lie bout that.

I got a 6! I agree with what others are saying- it's hard for the test to be clear on the disinctions between self-confidence and arrogance. But seeing as it's not a serious test used for diagnosis or anything like that, it's probably just meant to be for fun.



Edit: Was just reading my page and stumbled upon the graphs detailing increasing narcissism traits in undergraduates. Amazingly, I've read the author (Jean Twenge) in my college English class. Authors like her are looking at the connection between social media use and narcissism. Of course, it's no guarantee that those who use social media will be narcissistic (most of us on this forum are pretty low), but it's some interesting research nonetheless.

I got a grand total of 1. My one narcissistic facet was in self-sufficiency.

My score is a nine out of forty. My highest score was in the "superiority" category, which is weird, because I don't feel superior or "better" in any way at all compared to anyone else. I don't like arrogance, and if I seem like it, then I apologize.
