i dont personally like it but the fanbase is largely comprised of people who fetishize LGBT people and threaten the creators, so theyre basically complete trash and im glad itll be gone so the poor creators dont have to deal with death threats anymore

the fanbase.

considering the things they’ve done we’re better off without the show.

I’ve sort of enjoyed it, but a lot of it feels rushed as heck with plot twists thrown in for the sake of plot twists. Season 6 Spoilers:
In season 5, the characters learn that Lotor is actually a good person and that not all of the Galra (the main evil alien species) are actually evil. So there’s this whole anti racism thing which I’m cool with.

But then uh oh he’s evil what a twist. Screw anti racism I guess all galra are evil


I’m honestly just watching this last season to see how it ends. I doubt it would have kept my interest any longer anyway.

i like voltron: legendary defender but the fandom is a nuclear wasteland i've been happy to avoid. the few times i've looked at it were enough to scare me the hell away. so at this point i'm glad the story is coming to a close... and i'm also hoping the dragon prince fandom doesn't end up like voltron's.

...it hasn't, right? i haven't paid much attention aside from fanart and memes that the official dragon prince twitter retweets.
