as much as i would have loved this, he's not really.. popular enough? stuff like greninja was understandable because the anime and lucario because.. furries

but anywho i kinda hope we get a gen 7 stage, based on the tapu shrines. it could work like midgar, where one of the four tapus' terrain changes would affect the stage

Like always, take any leaks with a grain of salt, but if you ask me, to my knowledge no other leak was able to leak Richter before the August direct, just like how Vergeben was the only one that leaked Simon and Ridley, so this could be legit. At this point I think anything is possible with this game since we got Ridley, K. Rool, AND 2 Castlevania reps so far.

We haven't have a final stage grass starter, though. But personally I would prefer it if they didn't go with a starter at all, since we already have four (five if you count Pikachu being the starter of Yellow and LGP).

To be unironic, I could see Sans being an assist trophy at best. And that's if he's even in the game at all.

Shovel Knight has an assist trophy and he was without a doubt the most requested indie character. No other indie character is gonna realistically get a character slot if Shovel Knight didn't get one.

Plus Undertale isn't even on Switch yet. Shovel Knight was at least heavily promoted on Nintendo systems. It's why Shantae was another heavily requested indie(that, to be honest, I think could possibly get an assist trophy as well).

Considering that Shovel Knight, a very well-known indie character who's been associated with Nintendo before, is only being made an assist trophy, I doubt Sans will get in as a full character. Hell, I doubt he'll even get in as an Assist Trophy.

In a weird way, I still kinda want to see him get in just to see the absolute outrage that it would spark.

I love Undertale to death but it doesn’t deserve to be in Smash.

All I want is the Octoling as an Echo for the Inkling. Be it announced before launch, or as DLC, if the Octoling makes it in, I'm a happy squid kiddo
