What defines a "smart" person for you?

I'm actually interested to hear different perspectives on this since most people I know think it means you're good at math or something.

To me a smart person simply is a person who is capable of adapting to any change in one's own life in order to survive.

Saying I'm smart doesn't mean I'm smart. Sometimes, when people say you're smart, you mightn't think so. The more you know, the more you realise how little you really know.

the thing about people is that everybody assumes that theyre smarter than the people around them. so naturally if they agree with another onws views they assume that they too are smart. you can see this with people calling others dumb when talking about two different views. Nobody wants to say that they are dumb and those who do usually dont believe they are.

Tl;dr: we preceive other's with similar opinions as smart

Going to have to disagree here. I get what you're saying, but I don't think smart is the right word.

Perceptive is more like it.
